Halloween 2014

Lots of activity this Halloween! 
First, our annual pumpkin carving competition.

It was a tight race, but Mommy came out on top with her heart eyes (#5).

This year, our daycare arranged a trip to the local pumpkin patch where the kids got to go on a hayride!

Our daycare provider, Miss Livia, also took the "big kids" on a special field trip to a Fall Festival at the local private school for games, lunch and snowcones!  She is so good to them!

This isn't Camille's Halloween costume, but it could have been...such a lovely little princess!

Whew, what a week so far!  Here are the kids in their official Halloween costumes on Friday at daycare (Connor as Iron Man and Camille as Snow White).

Happy 2nd Birthday Camille!

What can I say about Camille at age 2?  Well, she is certainly a funny girl...definitely feisty...and even just recently, a little bit sweet and cuddly.  She loves to play with her dolls and she is interested in anything that Connor is saying or doing.

She celebrated on Friday with all her friends at daycare.  I can't get enough of this video and how sweet Connor is to her.

 

Little Fish

We love spending time at Grandma and Grandpa's swimming in the pool!

And Mommy is really good at lounging in the sun :)

Pumpkin Patch 2014

Connor looks forward to the pumpkin patch every year, not because there are so many pumpkins there, but because they have rides.  I got Connor an unlimited ride wristband and figured I would just purchase a few tickets for Camille.  Camille asked me many times if it was her turn to go on the rides and I kept telling her that we needed to go buy tickets...and then we never did.  She was content just looking around.

Minnesota Trip

We once again spent the week of Labor Day in Minnesota this year (late enough in the summer to miss mosquito season and the lake water is still warm for swimming).
This was Camille's first airplane ride not strapped into a car seat and she did great!  Both kids stayed awake the entire flight out to Minnesota, but they were very well behaved. 

We had a great time visiting Grandpa John and Cindy in Excelsior where we got to play in the lake and dance at the local block party!  Mommy and Daddy even snuck away for paddle boarding and lunch with friends!

 

 

 

We then headed to Rush City to hang with Grandma Dianne, Grandpa Don and Auntie Stacy...where it proceeded to rain for nearly the entire time we were there.  We had to skip our professional pictures this year because of the rain, so I guess these shots I took on the one sunny day will have to do...
