Connor passed his first karate belt test yesterday!  He has graduated from a white to an orange belt.  

Do not mess with him...

Pumpkin patch pictures 2016:

Grandpa and Grandma came over for the annual Flynn pumpkin carving contest.  Connor and Camille drew pictures of what they wanted and Mommy carved them on their behalf.

In a rare event, Daddy actually won.  It's about time Mommy didn't win, she was getting tired of always coming out on top.

We had a lot of fun trick-or-treating with our friends in our neighborhood on Halloween.  

Camille dressed up as Elsa (AGAIN).  She was going to be Sofia the First, but changed her mind.  Here she is dressed up a few days before Halloween as Sofia.  So pretty!

Mommy and Daddy even dressed up a little.  Daddy really outdid himself!  He even walked around barefoot with green feet all night.  

Connor was a Storm Trooper.

Happy 4th Birthday, Camille!

Of course, it never rains in California...but it seems to every few years when I plan an outdoor party.  

The rain wasn't going to keep us from having fun with our friends though!  We had a jumpy, a piñata and cupcakes.  Some scattered rain sprinkles didn't bother us!  We were so fortunate to have friends from San Pedro come to join us, along with our San Diego friends and family.  It was so special!

And here is our big girl on her actual birthday having breakfast before school (had to get my balloons in a picture somewhere).

First day of school 2016

1st day of 1st grade for Connor and he shared the spotlight with Camille :)

Summer Stuff

Auntie Tammie (Chad's sister) got married at the end of August and she picked the cutest little flower girl and the most handsome ring bearer for her big day!  Waiting on the professional pictures to show more...the wedding was on the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean - absolutely beautiful!

We spent a lot of time in the photo booth at the reception.  It was a blast!  I think we have around 15 strips of different poses.  

Otherwise, we have been spending a lot of time this summer at Legoland, playing in our backyard and swimming in our neighborhood pool.  The kids are both amazing swimmers!

Moving Day

We spent the night before our move having dinner with our favorite neighbors.  We certainly miss having them across the street from us!







At the end of the evening, our other neighbor's surprised the kids by arranging for them to take one last right around the neighborhood...in a LAPD fire truck...with the lights and sirens on!!  Such a special send off and memory for us of Denison Avenue!






The next morning, it all got real...



Leaving our neighborhood was hard, but the hardest part of the move for me was leaving our amazing daycare who have been the best friends and mentors to our kids since they were babies.   I still tear-up thinking about how wonderful they are and how much we miss them.  Here are some great photos that they posted of the kids last day...

Our last San Pedro party!

We decided to throw a big birthday party for Connor/going away party for the kids before we moved. Naturally, Mommy went all out with a taco cart and the biggest jumpy that was available.  We had over 60 people in attendance and it was a blast!  It meant a lot for us to be able to spend one last day celebrating with our friends before our big move.



















As usual, we were having so much fun that I neglected to take many pictures...it was a fun day had by all!
