Father's Day 2016

Connor and Camille are so lucky to have Chad for a Daddy!  He is truly their superhero.  Well, mine too...

Kindergarten Graduation

Connor had a great year in Kinder!  He went into it hardly knowing his letters or how to write his name.  He certainly didn't know how to read.  He graduated in one of the highest reading levels of his class (reading at a level equivalent to half way through 1st grade) and in the highest spelling level.  He had some rough waters the last 2 weeks with some naughty behavior notes sent home, but we're super proud of him and of what he achieved.  I still can't believe how much he grew academically.
Mommy didn't cry on graduation day like she did on the first day of Kindergarten.  A little, but not too much.  I think I've got this now. Well, until Camille goes to Kinder...who am I kidding?  I'm already crying thinking about her going to a new preschool next year...

We're moving!!

Chad finally got approval to work from home full time and I've grown tired of my 140 mile per day round trip driving, so we made the plunge to list our house.  Fortunately, our realtor got us a full price offer before we even listed it.  We lagged a while on looking for new houses down South, but every thing worked out and we will be moving to Carlsbad (San Diego County) at the end of June.  Carlsbad is around 85 miles South from where we are in LA County.  We will miss living right at the beach, but will still be within a few miles of the sand.

Here are some pictures of our new pad!  4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2800 sq ft, and everything we were looking for.  We are really excited to be in a neighborhood with a lot of kids and parks/pool in our development.  Most importantly, the kids will be in a great school district and we'll only be 30 minutes from Grandpa & Grandma Flynn and 30 minutes from my office.

Connor played his second season of baseball this year and Daddy helped out coaching.  Camille an I love sitting at his games eating sunflower seeds and peanuts.

Connor has improved SO MUCH from last year!  He has a great swing!  Here he is sliding into home...

And, as it turns out, Connor is also a good coach too.  Camille can't decide if she wants to be a baseball player or a ballerina.  She sure looks cute though!

Easter 2016

We went down to San Diego to spend Easter with the Flynn's.  Lucky for us, Grandma Karen took the kids a few days early so that Chad and I could enjoy a date night!

Oh, and when we got home from San Diego, I was moving my new chairs and realized that somebody wrote on the back of one with a pencil.  Connor swore it wasn't him and had to be Camille.  He probably shouldn't have signed his name on this masterpiece.

Hawaii!!!

We headed to Hawaii at the beginning of February with our good friends (the Ballard's & the McCallon's) and our kids.  Fortunate for us, Connie works for Disney and so we got pampered at the Disney Aulani resort.  It was the best vacation ever (until next year when we do it all over again)!

In true VIP fashion, we were upgraded to the top floor, beach front condo.  That top floor on the building to the right was all ours...the entire length of the building!

SO MUCH fun!  I didn't even take that many pictures because we were all having a blast playing in the pools and at the beach every day.

Did I mention that this resort has free daycare programs for the kids?  It was amazing to be on vacation with our friends and get to spend this time together (even adult time)!  We're looking forward to where our 2016 summer vacation will take us with this bunch!
