Christmas 2014 (the finale)

We ran into Santa the weekend before Christmas at the trolley station in San Pedro!  It was literally 5 minutes after we got done telling the kids that Santa was way too busy to be out and about so close to Christmas.

As always, our amazing daycare had a great little party for the kids complete with train rides, Santa and presents!

We went to San Diego to spend Christmas with Grandpa Jerry, Grandma Karen and Auntie Tammie!

Here are the kids right after Camille spilled my glass of red wine on the beige carpet.  It's a good thing she looked so cute (thanks Auntie Stacy for the beautiful dress)!

We spent Christmas Eve at Al and Barb's and everyone had a great time.

It was a lot of fun right up until the time when Connor spilled Mommy's glass of red wine on their white carpet and white chair.  Needless to say, I spent the majority of my night on my knees scrubbing carpet, with an empty glass of red wine, while holding a bottle of Wine Away.

My favorite part was when Connor spilled my wine and Camille wouldn't stop saying "ohhhhhhh, Connor did that!!" as if to erase our minds to the glass she spilled earlier.  They have never spilled a glass of wine before, so two in one night was a little much.  I need to switch to vodka as the clean-up would be easier.

The kids were really excited to see what Santa left them on Christmas morning!  Poor Grandma and Grandpa sure get the short end of the stick with the kids thinking everything they bought is from Santa!  A special thanks to all of our family who buy the kids so many gifts that Mommy and Daddy never actually buy them anything for Christmas!

I think she's smiling because the doll house is big enough...I mean, she can't even reach the top floor.

Here's another view of the doll house.  We seriously had to rearrange furniture in Camille's bedroom to fit it in.

We've had a great year of memories and are looking forward to what 2015 will bring us!
