Weekend Adventures

We had a pretty fun weekend full of adventures!

Less than desirable Memorial Day weather kept us from the beach, but we did head down to the harbor to check out activities at the Battleship IOWA.  

Camille wasn't as excited as Connor and Daddy were to sit inside of the cool Army trucks.

Connor did awesome at all of the shooting games winning the grand prize!

What a surprise, we woke up from our family nap to sunny skies and warm weather!  We spent the rest of the day playing in the back yard.  What a great weekend!

Happy Mother's Day!

We were lucky enough to have Chad's parents, both sisters and nephew here to celebrate Mother's Day weekend with us.  Connor and Camille were in heaven with so many people playing with them!

Connor has always wanted a kite and Cousin Bryson brought him one!  He was thrilled to fly it at the beach!

Here are the kids heading to daycare for their Easter celebration (Daddy's first time putting a barrette in Camille's hair).

We headed down to San Diego and had a lot of fun dyeing eggs and finding treasure filled ones!

It was a close call this year...Mommy had to make a few frantic calls to the Easter Bunny within the 24 hours leading-up to the day because of bad behavior.  We weren't sure if he was going to stop or just keep hopping on by.  Grandma obviously called back and convinced him to come.

Grandma Dianne and Auntie Stacy came to visit right after Mommy's birthday.  Visitors are fun!

I turned 40 in March...luckily, I have these guys to keep me young at heart!

Let's Play Ball!!

Connor started his first team sport in February...tee ball!  Watching 4 year olds playing ball isn't exactly nail biting, but it is entertaining.  Connor is a real ham.  Always yelling to me in the stands and waving and giving me thumbs up, etc.

The season lasted 3 months and the kids really improved over time.  By the last games, they didn't use a tee anymore and were swinging at actual pitches instead.  They could throw the ball to bases and tag the opposing team out.  According to Connor, the Indians had an undefeated season!
