Easter in Minnesota

Connor took his first big trip over Easter weekend!  We went to Minnesota!

The outbound flight was nothing short of miserable...he screamed for about 2 hours and then knocked out.  Mommy was near tears and swore there would be no more flights in our near future as a family.  The flight back was much better...yes, he was kicking the seat in front of us...yes, he was throwing his toys everywhere...yes, he kept taking a wallet from the tray table of the guy next to us...but he wasn't screaming.  Daddy says it just seemed easier because Mommy had some wine...

9 months old!

Connor's first word!

Yup, 8 + months of coddling this kid non-stop just paid off big...  He has never even made the "M" sound before and on Saturday he just started shooting off "Mom" and "Mama" out of nowhere!

 

Connor's 1st St. Patrick's Day

Being the Irish family that we are, it was a special treat to have Connor here this year for St. Patrick's Day...in a few years, he will learn to appreciate Daddy's amazing corned beef and cabbage dinner!

Irish or not, he is sooooo kissable!

It's probably impossible to watch this without smiling. Turn up your volume!

What a week!

Grandma and Grandpa Kirchberg came to visit Connor this past week.  Their first day here was a little tough since Connor was dealing with 2 more teeth cutting through (that makes 6 total now!), but he made a quick recovery and was happy for the remainder of their trip.  Despite the cold weather, they spent a lot of time at the park and walking along the beach.  Grandpa even got to spend his birthday with his favorite grandchild!
