Let's Play Ball!!

Connor started his first team sport in February...tee ball!  Watching 4 year olds playing ball isn't exactly nail biting, but it is entertaining.  Connor is a real ham.  Always yelling to me in the stands and waving and giving me thumbs up, etc.

The season lasted 3 months and the kids really improved over time.  By the last games, they didn't use a tee anymore and were swinging at actual pitches instead.  They could throw the ball to bases and tag the opposing team out.  According to Connor, the Indians had an undefeated season!

Boys Trip/Girls Weekend

Chad and Connor headed on their 2nd annual "boys trip" to Seattle to hang out with family while Camille and Mommy stayed home and spent time together.

We are so fortunate to have a good friend who works for Disney corporate...we get to experience all the fun of Disneyland and California Adventure at no cost :)

Amidst the measles outbreak, we headed for a fun day of rides and parades (with our immunized kids).

 

 I love how our kids will nap in a stroller when we tell them to.

Winter in California

We have enjoyed a lot of excessively warm winter weather this year (sorry Minnesota people).  Here are a few beach pictures.  Did I mention it's February?  Ahhhhhh...

Grandpa John & Cindy

I'm behind on my blogging!  This whole sitting in my car commuting for 2.5 hours a day is draining me of my free time...

Grandpa John and Cindy came to visit in January.  It rained all weekend.  The good news is that they were escaping the very cold MN weather and we were getting much needed rain here in California!  The bad news is that we missed out on so much outdoor time with them and the kids.

We made up for it by going to a local "indoor playground."  It was so much fun!
