Trip to Grandma & Grandpa's

Grandma Karen came and took the kids last week for a few days in San Diego while Mommy and Daddy enjoyed an unusually quiet house.

The kids got to hang out with their 2nd cousins, Mara & Parker, who were visiting from New York as well as Great Grandma Opal visiting from Seattle.

They went to the trampoline park, to the park, they played in the pool...cousins are so fun!

Do you see the candy wrapper on the floor and the one still in his mouth? BUSTED!!!!

Thanks to Aunt Jann for arranging pictures of the kids together. Camille didn't want anyone touching her in the pictures, so there are a number of Connor, Mara and Parker without her. Here are some of the proofs:

In summary, this was the first time the kids have ever been away from us...and I'm already looking forward to the next time :)

Hair, freckles & sheds

Camille's hair is growing...SLOWLY...if the wind blows just right, you can catch a glimpse of it!

She also has cute little freckles on her nose.

And in other news, Chad and Connor built and painted a tool shed in the backyard this weekend.

Superbowl Sunday

Yes, Minnesota, I married into a Seahawk's family, so it is perfectly acceptable for me to be a fan...plus, it's fun to cheer for a winning team (burn on you, Vikings).

Superbowl Sunday had a completely different meaning this year since Daddy's team was playing!

We decorated our own Seahawk's helmets, played football in the back yard and ate junk food while yelling "touchdown Seahawks" a lot. Connor got 2 Skittles every time they scored, so he was flying high on sugar!

Grandpa John & Cindy

Grandpa John and Cindy came from Minnesota to thaw out for a weekend. Minnesota is experiencing epic cold temperatures this winter and we are getting warmer than usual temps. It's just not fair, is it?
