Christmas...the beginning of a month long holiday...

Grandpa Don & Grandma Dianne came for an early Christmas with the kids at the beginning of December.
We got to enjoy beach/outdoor time before they had to head back to their chilly winter.

Christmas cookies with Grandma!!

Poor Grandma, she shipped her Christmas gifts to California a week before Thanksgiving and USPS still has not delivered them, nearly a month later.  The good news is that she had 1 gift for each kid sent directly from the retailer, so they had something to open.  And quite honestly, they were so thrilled with those gifts that they didn't miss opening more.  Looks like we'll be having another Christmas when the carton finally arrives...these kids are going to think Christmas is a year round thing...

Thanksgiving 2013

Connor came down with Croup the day before Thanksgiving.  So, we ended-up at the grocery store on Wednesday evening buying all the fixings for Daddy's last minute dinner at home instead of dinner at Grandma & Grandpa's.

Camille was really excited about her turkey dinner.

Daddy and Camille went to San Diego on Friday to see GG while Connor and Mommy stayed home and rested...pj's and Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3.
We also spent hours painting.

Despite being sick and having to change our plans, we have so much to be thankful for this year!

Having a big brother is great!  Camille gets to watch him and try to do everything he does.  Dunking at the age of 1?  Check!

Camille's 1st Birthday!

Wow, it feels like only a few months ago that Camille was still getting up a few times a night.  Wait, that's a true story...

But anyway, she turned 1 on October 25th!

Connor insisted on a photo of them together.

Her birthday fell on a Friday, so she got to celebrate with her brother and other friends at daycare. She had no interest in her cupcake (I'm sure her big brother offered to take it off her hands though).

Grandma & Grandpa Flynn and Beatrice came over on Saturday for more celebrating (typical 2nd baby doesn't get a big party like Connor had - that's the breaks).  

Thanks to Beatrice for the beautiful princess cake!

Camille wasn't a fan of the frosting sticking to her hands, but she liked the cake (once we cleaned all the frosting off of her).

Thanks to everyone for the gifts, our playroom now has pink in it!  So long to Connor's 2nd hand toys, Camille has her own now!
