Happy Father's Day!

For those of you who haven't already heard, we found out that we will be having a baby girl this October!  We couldn't be happier!!

This year for Father's Day, we went to San Diego and Connor got to swim in Grandma and Grandpa's pool.  The water was pretty cold, but he didn't seem to mind.

Our new & improved backyard

Connor is almost 2 and we think we have finally finished "baby proofing."  Last step was a fence in the backyard which Chad built along with wood finishing on the old (ugly) concrete wall.

As you can see, Connor was a pretty big help too...he logged many hours in the backyard with Daddy throughout this project.

A visit from Grandma & Auntie Stacy

Grandma Kirchberg and Auntie Stacy came  to visit Connor at the end of April.  We had great weather and Connor enjoyed their time together.  Mommy & Daddy even got away for a date night!  Every once in a while, Connor still says "bye bye Grandma.  bye bye Stacy.  airplane."  We'll see everyone again soon as our July trip to the Midwest is quickly approaching!

Happy Easter!

We started off Easter weekend by attending an Easter egg hunt at Connor's day care.

His baby brother or sister will arrive the week of October 22nd.

Playing at the gym

Today we went to Connor's friend, Cassidy's, 3rd birthday party at My Gym.  Connor had so much fun running around and playing with all the cool stuff.

He squeezed in a few pull-ups...(he's saying "I see you" in the video)

And this video was going to be Connor chasing bubbles, but it turned into him getting clocked by another kid in passing and I just think it's funny (he got right up and continued to chase bubbles).

Speed Ring Game

Chad and Connor play this game to see who can get the rings put back on the base quickest.  It's very entertaining to watch.  Connor still needs some practice at getting all of the colors right as he goes along, but he has the "done" part at the end nailed.

Beach Day

Weather was 85 and sunny yesterday...Connor decided that he wanted to wear his boots.

We took advantage of the warm weather and went down to the beach for the afternoon.  It was the first time that Connor really enjoyed playing in the sand and splashing in the water.  It was low tide, so the little pools of warm water in the sand were perfect for him!
